We dance for FUN, and enjoy the dances of Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. We do a variety of folk dances, including set dances, mixers, and various couples dances (gammaldans, and a little bygdedans). We hope you'll come join us for one of our dances! Beginners are welcome.
Month-long dance classes are each focused on one type of basic dance, such as waltz, polka, or schottis, and also include several simple beginning dances.
We also hold semi-annual Scandinavian Dance workshops, where we have the chance to learn some new dances.
If you'd like to be added to our email list, to be informed of our dances and occasional classes and workshops, please email SaltLakeScandiDance@gmail.com.
