Held Friday, May 2, 2014 - "It was awesome!" Brennan B., age 5
Children & Family Scandinavian Folk Dance
with Karlene Kjerstin, Instructor
Karlene learned to love dance from her Swedish grandfather who frequently said "Dance makes the day better." Karlene has been teaching dance to children and families for more than 30 years and presently teaches weekly dance classes in her grandchildren’s schools. She believes intergenerational dancing brings families together and allows us to remember our roots.
Everyone had a wonderful time: 14 children and 19 adults. If you would like us to host another dance, just let us know!
Children under 8 are welcome but each needs a dance "helper" over 12 years of age.
Cottonwood Presbyterian Church - 1580 East Vine (6100 S), SLC
7:00-8:30 pm; doors open at 6:30 pm; please arrive early to register
Everyone welcome! $5 children or $15 family, suggested donation
